Animation

A short piece created to be shown at the 2011 Adelaide Film Festival in front of the ‘Short Film’ category. All work, except the sound, is my own.

A brief animation to showcase the character rig I developed. Includes FK/IK switches, variable arm/leg length and stretchy arms/legs.

Here are a few character animations created while at AFTRS. I modelled, rigged, and animated the dinosaur and alien, rigged and animated the ape-man, animated and modified the rig for the dog, and animated the rest.

This animation was created in the second half of 2009 for ‘Advanced 3D Computer Animation’ at UniSA. Most of the animation and textures were created by following a series of tutorials; however the entire sequence with the turret is my own work along with some modifications to the mech. Sound effects are from The Freesound Project and Soundsnap.

This animation was created in late 2008 for the course ‘Intermediate 3D Computer Animation’ at UniSA. The robot character and rigging is from SimplyMaya and the sound effects are from Soundsnap, everything else is my own work. Creating this animation was a huge project and I found it extremely enjoyable.

This was the first complete animated movie I produced. It was created in 2008 for the course ‘Beginner 3D Computer Animation’ at UniSA. Animation was done in Maya with editing done in Premier. The sound effects were taken from Soundsnap and The Freesound Project, with some editing using Audacity.
